Bad Boy Nerf Bar Installation Tips

Here are some helpful hints for installing our Nerf bars on your Suzuki Samurai. No welding is required. It does help to have 2 people do the install. Place the nerf bars at about 1″ below the rocker panel seam (providing that you do not have a body lift ) – this is best done with a pair of jack stands and a friend. Use a felt marker and mark through the holes on the nerf bar plates to mark your drilling location on the frame. Start with a small bit 1/4″ and then to an oversize bit 1/2″ – for adjustment and misalignment purposes. Then mount the nerf bars using the supplied plates as nuts to sandwich the frame stantions.
